I'm Michael, the guy behind Passion It Pictures and Film. I'm a small town Métis guy from Penetanguishene who genuinely loves being part of people's wedding days. My job isn't just to show up with cameras and take pretty pictures. I'm there to help you feel comfortable, keep things moving when they need to move, calm things down when they don't, and make sure you actually get to enjoy the day you've spent so much time planning.

Because your wedding shouldn't feel like a photoshoot.

It should feel like your wedding.

I'll guide you when you need direction, give you space when you don't, and quietly capture the moments happening around you while you're busy living them. The big ones, the little ones, the moments you expected, and the ones you didn't even know happened until you see them in your gallery.

Hi, I’m Michael Lacroix

Hi, I'm Michael, the owner of Passion It Pictures and Film, proudly based in the small town of Penetanguishene, Ontario. I'm 31, married to my amazing wife, and I know firsthand just how quickly life's biggest moments can pass by.

My photography journey started back in 2014 as a creative hobby. Before long, friends and family began asking me to capture their special moments, and what started as a passion quickly grew into a business. Everything changed when my cousin asked me to film her wedding. Seeing how powerful it was to preserve not just the memories, but the emotions, laughter, and little moments in between, made me fall in love with wedding filmmaking.

Today, my goal is about so much more than taking beautiful photos or creating cinematic films. I want to help you feel comfortable, enjoy every moment of your day, and capture your story as naturally as it unfolds. Whether it's your wedding, your business, or another milestone worth celebrating, I'm here to create memories you'll be able to relive for years to come.
